About the event
Come meet wine maker Jean-Paul Trijsburg, and sample his amazing collection of wines. JP crafts small batch wines from lesser-known grape varieties and exceptional Victorian vineyards, using traditional winemaking methods he learnt in France and Australia. Will be fun.
J.P Trijsburg Grenache Blanc
Heathcote Grenache from Willoughby Bridge that was pressed immediately to produce a translucent, transfixing, white wine. Tastes ripe and full of pear but is savoury and will go well with your favourite picnic foods.
J.P Trijsburg Pinot Gris
Tight, cool and restrained. There’s a little phenolic thingy happening that makes all the pear seem almost tangible and not just some pleasure-evoking, divine note.
