About the event
Terre des Dames is a former 18th-century farmhouse surrounded by 14 hectares of vines in the countryside near Béziers. The owner, Lidewij Van Wilgen, discovered it in 2002 after leaving her career in advertising in Amsterdam to pursue her love of wine and a closer connection to nature. Lidewij studied oenology and wine growing in Languedoc-Roussillon.
Her philosophy is to produce original, natural wines that reflect the unique characteristics of their terroir. All grapes are hand-harvested and sorted, and Terre des Dames has been certified organic for the last eight years. The evening will be hosted by Marin Van der Klooster from The Wine Tradition.
Terre des Dames La Dame Blanche
A fresh and pleasant white, made from 100% Grenache Blanc. Our favourite grape variety for its finesse and minerality. Pure, fresh and mineral with a nice persistence on the palate.
