Spirits Tasting

Joining us for the tasting event will be Ashur de Montfichet from Proof Drinks, who represents the spirits lineup in Australia. Ashur will walk us through the spirits, answer any questions you may have, and offer cocktail suggestions for you to make at home.

Amaethon Single Malt Whisky

A very bright character, on vanilla, lemon candy and orchard fruits. Soft banana. Then more honey, sweet ginger lemonade and biscuits. Some buttery pastry. Light caramel in the end.

Mirabeau Rose Dry Gin

A beautiful herbaceous-style dry gin, with floral elements and a burst of citrus. At its core Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin Gin is a classic Dry Gin with a gorgeous pale pink colour. Mirabeau has used a 100% grape-based neutral spirit which adds roundness and subtle fruitiness to the palate. Lemons and Coriander add layers of fresh citrus character.

Cihuatan 8yo Rum

This aged rum comes to us from El Salvador, produced by Cihuatán! It was created as an homage to the Mayan God of rain, dubbed Indigo, and spent its eight years of ageing in American oak bourbon barrels. Rich mocha and toasted nuts, with butterscotch, flamed lemon peel and bitter coffee bean.
