This amber ale smells an awful lot like a porter, with rich chocolate aromas leading the way. But while your nose wonders if it’s a dark beer, your eyes see the reddy-orange of glowing embers rather than the black of burned charcoal. Your mouth then gets the joy of an integrated mix of malt and hops: toffee and citrus, caramel and pine, biscuit and caramelised peach all welded together inseparably.
